Job Description:

Job Responsibilites -

• Diagnose and repair Class 7 & 8 semi-trucks and heavy duty commercial vehicles
• Work on tractors, trailers, and other diesel equipment
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, and drivetrains
• Perform brake system inspections, repairs, and adjustments
• Diagnose and repair air brake and air system componets
• Troubleshoot and repair electrial and electronic systems
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain the following : Starting and charging systems, cooling systems, amd fuel systems
• Perform DOT - related inspections and repairs as required
• Diagnose and repair DPF, DEF,SCR, EGR, and other emission/after-treatment systems
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment and manufacturer diagnostic software
• Accurately identify parts and repairs needed
• Communicate repair needs and recommendations to management and/or customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow company safety procedures and proper repair specifications
• Complete repairs in a timely and professional manner
• Assit with other shop duties related to heavy-duty truck service and repair

 

Requirements

• Previous experience working on semi-trucks, heavy-duty trucks, trailers, or diesel equipment
• Strong knowledge of heavy-duty diesel systems
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrial problems
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work independently while also working well with the rest of our team
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding shop work

 

Shift Schedule:

• Full Time
• 45 hours per week
